Showcase Your Cake at the Spring Cake Fair
The Spring Cake Fair is the Garden Route’s biggest cake showcase - a celebration of creativity, baking talent, and community spirit. Whether you are a professional baker, a passionate home baker, or bringing along a treasured family recipe, this is your opportunity to showcase your masterpiece. Share grandma’s secret recipe, introduce something completely new, or let your signature style shine.
For professional bakers, the Spring Cake Fair is a wonderful platform to have your creations seen, appreciated, and purchased by cake lovers and supporters from across the community. Most importantly, it is a chance to use your talent to give back and make a meaningful difference.
Baking for a cause, too
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and the Spring Cake Fair provides an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of local children and families affected by childhood cancer. The Spring Cake Fair is hosted in association with Alexander’s Wish NPC, a registered non-profit company dedicated to creating hope and support through meaningful community initiatives. Each year proceeds from the Spring Cake Fair will go towards supporting a local child affected by childhood cancer.
Spring Theme
As the name suggests, the Spring Cake Fair celebrates the beauty and freshness of the season. Where possible, we encourage bakers to reflect this theme through their designs and presentation. Think bright colours, florals, pastel tones, fresh ingredients, and joyful spring-inspired creations.
Cake Size Guidelines
Let your creativity shine! Your cake is a reflection of your unique style and passion. To help keep the showcase consistent, we recommend a minimum cake size of approximately 23 cm. We cannot wait to see the beautiful creations you bring to life!

Please allow enough time to check in your cake(s) for labeling, placement, and an optional photo.
